For everyone out there who believes teh doctor's who say that there is a pill for everything: you are wrong. We Veterans get tons of pills given to us by the VA hospital. At one time I had 27 different prescriptions per day. Most of them I had to take 2 to 3 times a day. Until I met Josh and Melissa from Continue Mission.
I will personally tell you I have dropped more than half of those prescriptions and substituted them with outdoor recreation therapy. If it wasn't for Continue Mission I would be a zombie floating through life with zero feelings or emotions. Continue Mission has done a lot for myself and my family.
I would say to those thinking about finding an organization to help and donat to, look towards Continue Mission. There are 22 of us Veterans a day who die by suicide because they don't know where to turn or have no other way to deal with the demons they brought bacck with them. This is not okay.
I know for a fact Continue Mission feels the same way. Please donate to Continue Mission so that they can continue to help clear the minds and bodies of us Veterans with outdoor recreation. It does help and I can personally tell you it has got me up and out of the house with a group of people I can trust and let my guard down with.
